Commento

Il est évidemment difficile de déterminer le sens d’un jeton aussi énigmantique mais entre les deux sens du mot Lansquenet :
- un reitre - landsknecht - soudard violent parfois mercenaire mais toujours courageux
- un jeu de cartes très en vogue sous les Louis XIV et XV voir les informations à http://academiedesjeux.jeuxsoc.fr/lansquenet.htm et où les paris comme aujourd’hui dans un casino se faisaient avec des jetons
Il est clair que notre jeton a été utilisé dans un cercle de jeu de lansquenet, probablement installé à Choisy mais ayant peut-être aussi un lien avec l’Abbé de Choisy, joueur pathologique plusieurs fois ruiné qui laissa des mémoires éclairants après sa mort en 1724.
Le type n’est pas connu dans le Feuardent et nous n’en avons pas trouvé de référence ni n’en avons jamais eu d’autre exemplaire ni bien entendu d’original.
