Pièce de 2 Euro commémorative circulante éditée à l’occasion du 200ème anniversaire du jardin botanique de Ljubljana (capitale de la Slovénie). Fondé en 1810 le jardin botanique est avec la Bibliothèque Nationale et universitaire la plus ancienne institution culturelle et scientifique de Slovénie. Il abrite plus de 4.500 espèces végétales différentes dont plus d’un tiers sont des espèces régionales.

Circulating commemorative 2 Euro coin issued to mark the 200th anniversary of the Botanical Garden in Ljubljana (capital of Slovenia). Founded in 1810, the Botanical Garden is, along with the National and University Library, the oldest cultural and scientific institution in Slovenia. It is home to over 4,500 different plant species, more than a third of which are regional species.
