Commento

Cette médaille, au type très rare, a été utilisée en insigne et la trace d'un sertissage par griffes se voit encore. Elle devait constituer à l'époque une distinction suffisamment importante pour être portée en public.
This medal, of a very rare type, was used as a badge and the trace of a claw setting is still visible. It must have been a sufficiently important distinction at the time to be worn in public.
