Cronistoria

PORTUGAL - ROYAUME DU PORTUGAL - JEAN VI LE CLÉMENT

(1792-1816-1826)

Jean VI (13/05/1767-10/03/1826) è il figlio di Pierre III (1717-1786) e Marie I (1734-1816). Reggente quando sua madre impazzì nel 1792, Jean VI dovette fuggire nel 1807 quando le truppe di Junot invasero il Portogallo e occuparono Lisbona. Il principe trova rifugio in Brasile con tutta la famiglia reale. Giovanni VI non torna in Portogallo fino al 1821. Il Brasile ottiene l'indipendenza nel 1822. Giovanni muore nel 1826.
