Cet exemplaire, de forme ronde, s’ouvre et permet de placer un souverain (diamètre : 22,5 mm).

L’emplacement pour la pièce est guilloché formant un motif discret de rosace.

On note divers poinçons, sur l’intérieur du couvercle un lion passant, une ancre, un E et la mention “WHH”. On retrouve le lion et le E sur le pourtour de l’emplacement et le lion sur un des deux emplacements. Sur la bélière, on retrouve également un lion.

Various hallmarks are present on the inside of the lid: a passant lion, an anchor, an E, and the inscription “WHH”. The lion and the E are repeated around the edge of the coin slot, and the lion is also found on one of the two slots. A lion is also depicted on the bail.
