Cet exemplaire, de forme rectangle au bord arrondis, s’ouvre et permet de placer un souverain (diamètre : 22,5 mm) et un demi souverain (19 mm)

Les emplacements pour les pièces sont guillochés créant un motif discret de rosace.

On note divers poinçons, sur l’intérieur du couvercle : un lion passant, une ancre, un “i” (pour l’année de 1908) et D&F. On retrouve le lion et le “i” sur les pourtours des emplacements. Le lion est également présent sur un des l’emplacements et sur l’anneau de suspension.
Dimensions without bail: 63 x 31 mm. This rectangular coin case with rounded edges opens to hold a sovereign (22.5 mm diameter) and a half sovereign (19 mm). The coin slots are guilloché, creating a subtle rosette pattern. Various hallmarks are visible on the inside of the lid: a passant lion, an anchor, an \\\"i\\\" (for the year 1908), and D&F. The lion and the \\\"i\\\" are repeated around the edges of the coin slots. The lion is also present on one of the slots and on the suspension ring.
