Commento

La légende PECTA est assez explicite sur l’attribution de ce denier à Poitiers. Ce type de deniers toujours de bas titre et de poids léger a été frappé par le monétaire ANDOLENVS.
Le denier Belfort n° 3617 présente le même revers que notre monnaie avec + NDODN, mais associé à la légende VECTA rétrograde au droit.
The legend PECTA is quite explicit about the attribution of this denier to Poitiers. This type of denier, always of low fineness and light weight, was struck by the mint ANDOLENVS. The Belfort denier n° 3617 has the same reverse as our coin with + NDODN, but associated with the legend VECTA retrograde on the obverse
