Mini coffret emis par la Monnaie des Pays-Bas lors de l’introduction de l’Euro comprenant la série des huit coupures Euro 2002 en réduction 1/2. La Monnaie Royale des Pays-Bas avait coutume de sortir chaque année un série des pièces de l’année en taille réduction 1/2.
La frappe prévue était de 2.000 exemplaires mais la commercialisation a été interdite et interrompue par la BCE (Banque Centrale Européenne). Quelques centaines d’exemplaires avaient cependant déjà été mis en circulation avant l’interdiction. Cette petite série, officielle, mais n’ayant pas cours légal, était contraire aux règles de reproductions de pièces Euro édictées par la BCE (Banque Centrale Européenne).

The Royal Netherlands Mint used to release a series of the year's coins in half-size reduction each year. The planned mintage was 2,000 coins, but the marketing was prohibited and interrupted by the ECB (European Central Bank). However, a few hundred examples had already been put into circulation before the ban. This small series, official but not legal tender, was contrary to the rules for reproduction of Euro coins issued by the ECB (European Central Bank).
