Pendant cette période de vacance, trois types d'écus furent frappés, le premier avec le millésime dans la légende du droit, le deuxième avec 17-24 en accostement de l'écu et enfin le troisième, comme notre exemplaire, avec le millésime en accostement de la mitre épiscopale et avec un écu reposant sur un manteau d'hermine. Le chiffre de frappe comprend les différents types d'écus frappés à Liège en 1724.
During this period of vacancy, three types of shields were struck, the first with the year in the legend of the obverse, the second with 17-24 in abutment to the shield and finally the third, like our example, with the year in abutment to the episcopal mitre and with a shield resting on an ermine cloak. The mintage figure includes the different types of shields struck in Liège in 1724
