(1156-1196)

Nel 1096, Raymond IV de Saint-Gilles, conte di Tolosa, vendette la viscontea di Rodez a Richard de Carlat. Suo figlio Hugues I (1132-1156) gli successe nel 1132. Abbiamo poi Hugues II (1156-1195) e Hugues III (1195-1196). Il visconte passa a Guillaume, fratello di Ugo III che muore senza figli nel 1208.
