Magnifique monnaie, avec une tête complète et une chevelure finement travaillée. Revers complet et centré, mais avec un coup sur les jambes arrières du cheval. Sinon, monnaie de qualité avec un bon métal, légèrement granuleux par endroits

Titolatura diritto : ANÉPIGRAPHE.

Descrittivo diritto : Tête diadémée de Perséphone à gauche, les cheveux tirés en arrière et ramenés en trois mèches, le cou orné d’un collier de perles mais sans pendeloque aux oreilles ; un fleuron signifiant un dauphin devant la bouche.

Rovescio

Titolatura rovescio : ANÉPIGRAPHE.

Descrittivo rovescio : Cheval tourné vers la gauche, arrêté et relevant fortement la croupe, surmonté d'une victoire très stylisée tenant une couronne.

Commento

Avec le droit et le revers orientés à gauche, cette monnaie correspondrait au type C "tête à gauche diadémée" du Nouvel Atlas. Ce monnayage de drachmes à la victoire, imitées d'Emporia est mieux connu grâce à la publication du "Trésor du Languedoc" qui contenait 117 drachmes sur 132 avec une tête à gauche au droit et seulement 21 sur 132 avec le cheval à gauche !.
With the right and the reverse oriented to the left, this coin would correspond to type C \\\"diademed head on the left\\\" of the New Atlas. This coinage of victory drachmas, imitated from Emporia, is better known thanks to the publication of the \\\"Treasure of Languedoc\\\" which contained 117 drachmas out of 132 with a head on the left on the right and only 21 out of 132 with the horse on the left!
