La ville fortifiée figure Philippsburg qui capitule devant le Dauphin le 29 octobre 1689.
Henry II de Fourcy (1626-1708), fut conseiller d’État ordinaire et conseiller d’honneur au Parlement de Paris, prévôt des marchands de Paris. Il épousa en premières noces Anne Briquet, alliée aux fameux Bignon, puis Madeleine de Boucherat (1644-1714) (fille du chancelier de France). Son fils, Balthasar-Henri de Fourcy de Chessy, originaire de Picardie, fut successivement chevalier de Malte (26 janvier 1675), abbé de Saint-Sever au diocèse de Coutances (1680), chanoine de Notre-Dame de Paris (1685), 72e abbé de Saint-Wandrille (janvier 1690), prieur des Bons-Hommes (janvier 1693), et docteur en théologie (2 août 1696).
The fortified town represents Philippsburg, which capitulated to the Dauphin on October 29, 1689. Henry II de Fourcy (1626-1708) was an ordinary councilor of state and honorary councilor at the Parliament of Paris, and provost of the merchants of Paris. He married first Anne Briquet, allied to the famous Bignons, then Madeleine de Boucherat (1644-1714) (daughter of the Chancellor of France).
