Lancé au début 2010, ‘America the beautiful’ est un programme de frappe de 56 monnaies commémoratives de 1/4 dollar illustrant les parcs nationaux et d’autres sites nationaux des États-Unis d’Amérique.
L’American Memorial Park est un parc situé sur l’île de Saipan dans l’archipel des îles Mariannes du Nord commémorant les 4.000 soldats tombé en juin 1944 lors de la libération de l’île occupée par les troupes japonaises.
Launched in early 2010, 'America the Beautiful' is a program of 56 commemorative quarter dollar coins depicting the national parks and other national sites of the United States of America. The American Memorial Park is a park located on the island of Saipan in the Northern Mariana Islands archipelago commemorating the 4,000 soldiers who fell in June 1944 during the liberation of the island from Japanese troops.
