Commento

Alphonse XII (28/11/1857-25/12/1885) est le fils d'Isabelle II qui a abdiqué en sa faveur en 1868. Après l'éviction d'Amédée de Savoie, roi de 1871 à 1873, la république est proclamée le 11 février 1873 mais Alphonse XII est rétabli sur le trône espagnol le 29 décembre 1874. Il épouse Maria Mercedes de Bourbon (1860-1878) puis en 1879 Marie-Christine d'Autriche (1858-1929) qui lui donne un fils posthume, le futur Alphonse XIII.
Alphonse XII (28/11/1857-25/12/1885) is the son of Isabella II who abdicated in her favor in 1868. After the eviction of Amédée de Savoie, king from 1871 to 1873, the republic is proclaimed on February 11, 1873 but Alphonse XII was restored to the Spanish throne on December 29, 1874. He married Maria Mercedes de Bourbon (1860-1878) then in 1879 Marie-Christine of Austria (1858-1929) who gave him a posthumous son , the future Alfonso XIII
