Exemplaire sur un flan irrégulier, un peu court sur les légende à l’usure régulière. Portrait tout à fait particulier. Frappe faible et molle au revers, légèrement décentré. Patine grise superficielle

Poids léger. Portrait tout à fait exceptionnel, particulier. Le style de cet exemplaire est très particulier, en particulier dans le traitement du portrait, au niveau du regard et de l’œil. Cependant, ni les auteurs du RIC., p. 44-45 ou du BMC., p. 87 ne retiennent l’hypothèse d’une attribution à l’atelier égyptien. Cependant, un exemplaire avec la Félicité était attribué au siècle dernier à l’atelier d’Alexandrie, considéré comme douteux par les auteurs du Roman Imperial Coinage.
Lightweight. A truly exceptional, distinctive portrait. The style of this example is very distinctive, particularly in the treatment of the portrait, the gaze and the eye. However, neither the authors of the RIC., p. 44-45 nor the BMC., p. 87 support the hypothesis of an attribution to the Egyptian workshop.
