Commento

Un seul autre triens de Bordeaux était recensé par Belfort mais n’était pas illustré et conservé anciennement dans la Bibliothèque de Bordeaux. Cette collection a depuis été transférée au Musée Archéologique de Bordeaux où elle est toujours conservée. Ce triens de Bordeaux est le deuxième connu au nom du monétaire Théodulf et n’est pas issu des mêmes coins de droit et de revers que celui signalé au XIXe siècle par Belfort.
Only one other Bordeaux triens was recorded by Belfort but was not illustrated and was formerly kept in the Bordeaux Library. This collection has since been transferred to the Archaeological Museum of Bordeaux where it is still kept. This Bordeaux triens is the second known in the name of the mint Theodulf and does not come from the same obverse and reverse dies as the one reported in the 19th century by Belfort.
