Diritto

Titolatura diritto : ANÉPIGRAPHE.

Descrittivo diritto : Tête à gauche, le nez très saillant, la joue se confondant avec le crâne ; chevelure en une ligne perlée.

Rovescio

Descrittivo rovescio : Animal indéterminé à droite, retournant la tête en arrière.

Commento

Ce type de droit est très proche de ceux des potins dits "aux chevrons" dont l'attribution oscille entre les Bellovaques et les Aulerques Éburovices.
Contrairement aux suppositions faites dans MONNAIES XV, ce potin est présent dans le catalogue de la BN, par Muret et Chabouillet. Mieux connue depuis l’étude qui en a été réalisée dans le CN n° 154, cette série proviendrait du Loir-et-Cher.
This type of right is very close to those of the so-called \\\"chevron potin\\\" whose attribution oscillates between the Bellovaci and the Aulerci Eburovices. Contrary to the assumptions made in MONNAIES XV, this potin is present in the BN catalog, by Muret and Chabouillet. Better known since the study carried out in CN No. 154, this series comes from Loir-et-Cher
