Exemplaire sur un petit flan très épais et particulièrement bien centré. Beau bouclier. Le revers est bien venu à la frappe. Jolie patine grise avec des reflets dorés

Deux exemplaires de ce type (Clion) faisaient partie du trésor de Myron (IGCH. 62) découvert en 1914 en Thessalie et publié par Svoronos qui contenait plus de 1.600 monnaies dont 525 statères de Thèbes avec noms de magistrats monétaires dont dix-neuf pour Clio. Les statères avec Clion semblent apparaître après ceux avec Clio (voir le commentaire dans Triton IX, collection BCD).
Two examples of this type (Clion) were part of the Myron hoard (IGCH. 62) discovered in 1914 in Thessaly and published by Svoronos which contained more than 1,600 coins including 525 staters from Thebes with names of monetary magistrates including nineteen for Clio. The staters with Clion seem to appear after those with Clio (see the commentary in Triton IX, BCD collection)
