Boîte de production inconnue (anglaise ?) sans étiquette, probablement de la fin du XIXe siècle.
Les poids se présentent sous deux formes, les premiers en forme de tronc de cylindre à bouton très plat et les seconds en forme de cylindre plat :
Première série : un poids de 1 2 AS. LOUIS (louis d’or) (6,59g), un poids de 1 LOUIS (louis d’or) (6,70g), un poids de 1 P DUC(at) (3,41g) et un poids de 1 B DUC(at) (3,45g), un poids de 1 CARL’D (9,67g) et un poids de MAXD(o)R (6,48g).
Deuxième série : un poids de ONE DRAM (3j) d’APOTHECARIES WEIGHT (3,92g), un poids de HALF DRAM (3fs) d’APOTHECARIES WEIGHT (1,94g), un poids de ONE SCRUPLE (Ej) d’APOTHECARIES WEIGHT (1,31g), puis dans un autre genre un poids de TWO DRACHM - *J.L.B.* (3ij) (8,02g), un poids de ONE DRACHM - *J.L.B.* (3j) (4,05g), un poids de 1/2 DRACHM - *J.L.B.* (3fs) (2,04g), un poids de TWO SCRUPLES - *J.L.B.* (Eij) (2,68g), un poids de ONE SCRUPLE - *J.L.B.* (Ej) (1,35g)
Tous les poids sont identifiés par une inscription gravée à la surface de chacun d’eux.
La boîte, complète, la forme en demi ovale, en bois recouverte d’un cuir marron gaufré de motifs floraux et autres arabesques dorés sur le dessus, est fermée par deux attaches métalliques. Un papier marbré recouvre le dos de la boîte. Le fléau de la balance est à double trou plat. L’ensemble (poids et balance) est placé dans une boîte couverte à l’intérieur d’une feutrine claire bordée par une bande de couleur rouge.
Dimensions (sur les parties les plus longues) de la boîte : 92*234 mm. Hauteur : 20 mm.

The box, complete, half-oval shaped, in wood covered with brown leather embossed with floral motifs and other golden arabesques on the top, is closed by two metal fasteners. Marbled paper covers the back of the box. The balance beam has a double flat hole. The whole set (weights and scales) is placed in a box covered inside with light felt bordered by a red band.
