Commento

Probable refrappe début XIXe s. avec les coins légèrement bombés. Minime trace de cassure de coin à onze heures au droit. Ce jeton se rapporte à l’élévation de François (III) d’Estaing au rang de chevalier de l‘ordre du Saint-Esprit. François III (v.1654-1732) est comte d'Estaing, marquis de Murol et baron de Spoix. Il porte d’azur à trois fleurs de lys d’or, au chef de même.
Probably re-struck early 19th century with slightly curved corners. Minimal trace of a die break at eleven o'clock on the obverse. This token relates to the elevation of François (III) d'Estaing to the rank of knight of the Order of the Holy Spirit. François III (c. 1654-1732) was Count d'Estaing, Marquis of Murol and Baron of Spoix. He bears azure with three golden fleurs-de-lys, with the chief of the same
