Depuis 1780, le thaler de Marie-Thérèse porte toujours l'année 1780. Il a été frappée par les ateliers de Birmingham, Bombay, Bruxelles, Londres, Paris, Rome et Utrecht, et bien sûr par les ateliers autrichiens de Hall, Günzburg, Kremnica, Karlsburg, Milan, Prague et Vienne.
