Commento

Buste très rare. On note une différence avec les types publiés de 744 W à Z car la fin de légende est très proche du gilet.
Le texte du revers est en petits caractères.
Les victimes que le clergé soutient de son don spontané sont celles de la guerre d'Indépendance d'Amérique afin de contribuer à cette tâche nationale. Voir l’ouvrage de Jean Lecompte, “Monnaies et jetons des colonies françaises” pages 190 et 191.
Very rare bust. There is a difference with the published types from 744 W to Z because the end of the legend is very close to the waistcoat. The text on the reverse is in small print. The victims that the clergy supported with their spontaneous donation were those of the American War of Independence in order to contribute to this national task.
