Ces jetons étaient distribués aux membres de l'Académie lors de leurs réunions du lundi, jeudi et samedi. On appelait " jetonniers " les académiciens remarqués pour leur assiduité aux réunions. Celui-ci a pu, par exemple, appartenir à Condorcet. C’est cet exemplaire qui illustre le type dans le Guéant Prieur.
These tokens were distributed to members of the Academy during their meetings on Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.
